INGREDIENTS

 

 

  • 20 g coffee (medium grind)

  • 180 ml hot water

  • 120 g ice

 


 

EQUIPMENT

 

 

  • Hario V60 dripper (02 size)

  • Paper filter

  • Kettle

  • Scale and timer

  • Range server or carafe

  • Cup with additional ice

METHOD

 

 

  1. Prepare Filter – Rinse your paper filter thoroughly with hot water and preheat your V60.

  2. Set Up – Add 120 g of ice to the server. Place the dripper on top and tare the scale.

  3. Add Coffee – Grind 20 g to medium, place into the dripper, and level the bed.

  4. Bloom (0:00–0:15) – Pour 50 g of water over the grounds, gently saturating. Wait 10–15 seconds.

  5. Second Pour (0:45) – Add 70 g of water in slow, circular motions.

  6. Final Pour (1:30) – Add the last 60 g of water to reach a total of 180 g.

  7. Drawdown (2:15) – Allow brewing to finish; total time ≈ 2 minutes 15 seconds.

  8. Swirl & Serve – Swirl the carafe to mix the melted ice evenly, then pour over fresh ice.
