Shamali Aged Coffee

Aged coffee brewed twice for depth, strength, and complexity.

INGREDIENTS

 

 

  • 80 g coffee (medium-fine grind)

  • 1l filtered water

 


 

EQUIPMENT

 

 

  • A brewing pot or saucepan

  • Heat source

  • Airtight bottles

  • Strainer or sieve

METHOD

 

 

  1. Prepare the brew – Add the coffee and water to the pot.

  2. Heat – Place on stove and brew until the coffee rises to the top, let it rest for an hour before bottling.

  3. Bottle – Remove from heat and carefully pour the coffee into airtight bottles.

  4. Rest – Store at room temperature for several days to allow the flavor to develop.

  5. Re-Brew – After resting, open the bottle and pour the coffee back into the pot, add 25 grams of coffee. 

  6. Heat Again – Brew once again until the coffee rises, increasing strength and body.

  7. Finish – Serve it immediately, or return it to the bottles for further aging.

Serving Options

 

Drink immediately for a bold, mature cup.

Store again to continue developing intensity, reheating before serving.


Notes

 

Always bring the coffee to a full boil before rebottling.

Do not refrigerate.
