  • 20 g medium-coarse ground coffee

  • 320–340 g hot water

  • Hoop paper filter

  • Kettle

  • Scale and timer

  • Mug or server

METHOD

 

 

  1. Assemble Brewer – Unscrew the brewing chamber from the main body.

  2. Insert Filter – Place a paper filter into the hole of the main body and reattach the chamber securely.

  3. Preheat – Rinse with hot water to eliminate paper flavor and warm the brewer.

  4. Add Coffee – Add 20 g of coffee and shake gently to level the bed.

  5. Begin Pouring – Pour hot water slowly into the outer chamber in gentle circular motions.

  6. Control Turbulence – Pour steadily to limit agitation and maintain balance.

  7. Total Water: 320–340 g, depending on desired strength.

  8. Break Crust (Optional) – Use a stir tool to break any crust formed during blooming.

  9. Drawdown & Serve – Allow the brew to finish dripping, then pour and enjoy.
