INGREDIENTS

 

 

  • 10 g medium-ground coffee

  • 160 g hot water

 


 

EQUIPMENT

 

 

  • Hario Immersion Dripper Switch

  • Paper filter (ABACA or Hario paper)

  • Kettle

  • Stirring spoon

  • Scale and timer

METHOD

 

 

  1. Prepare the Filter – Place the paper filter in the Hario Switch and rinse thoroughly with hot water.

  2. Add Coffee – Add 10 g of ground coffee into the dripper. Keep the switch up (closed).

  3. Add Water (0:00–0:15) – Pour 160 g of hot water (94 °C) evenly over the grounds within 15 seconds.

  4. Steep (0:15–2:00) – Let the coffee steep for 2 minutes. Gently stir 3 times at the 2-minute mark to mix and promote even extraction.

  5. Release (2:15) – Push the switch down to release the coffee into your cup or server.

  6. Serve & Enjoy – Once the drawdown completes, remove the dripper and serve immediately.
